"Looking after a bank of clients, only to find nobody invests in you and the role never goes anywhere?"
If you're the account manager clients trust, you'll know how it goes. You build the relationships, run the reviews and keep customers happy, yet you're stuck chasing numbers with no real recognition, no support for your wellbeing and no clear route forward.
There is a far more rewarding place to build your career.
Our client is an established, growing IT and digital services business in East Anglia, where the welfare and development of its team sit at the heart of how it works. Its mission is to drive exceptional business growth for its clients, and it now wants a professional, driven Account Manager to join its Business Development team for the next chapter of that growth.
The Benefits
- Competitive Reward: A competitive salary with frequent salary reviews to make sure you're rewarded properly, plus monthly Notable awards and an end-of-year awards ceremony.
- Work-Life Balance: 33 days' holiday including bank holidays, rising to 39 days with service, plus the option to buy and sell days. A structured workflow means you can leave work at work, and flexible working requests are considered.
- Continuous Reward and Growth: Vitality private health insurance and Aviva Smart Health with a 24/7 UK GP. You'll also get income protection, enhanced maternity and paternity packages, a confidential life coach, an in-house gym and showers, free parking, and an electric car scheme after 12 months. There are lunch and learn sessions, funded social events, and comprehensive development plans with real advancement routes into technical or management roles.
The Role
As Account Manager, you'll look after your own bank of clients. You'll lead review meetings, handle customer communication, and build strong relationships with VIPs and key contacts.
Day to day, you'll get to know each client's business, brand and industry in depth, and spot and discuss opportunities for growth. You'll play a key part in onboarding new clients so it feels seamless, and work with Project Managers to make sure planned work supports each client's goals. Your success will be measured on client retention and client satisfaction, managed through the CRM.
